Work
Thirteen live projects
Most studio portfolios are screenshots. Every project below is a working thing you can open right now, in a browser, and use.
That matters more than it should have to. "Show me something you actually built" is the most common question a small studio gets, and the honest answer for a lot of studios is a Figma file.
Client work
Designed, engineered, and launched by this studio for the people who own them.
PairPlays — a daily wine pairing game with a real catalog
Twenty levels of pairing puzzles over a live 690-bottle catalog, with a daily rotation, progression, and an economy built to hold up under adversarial players. pairplays.com ↗
PourPlay — wine education as play
Games and tastings with a PourPoints economy, on the same catalog infrastructure as PairPlays — built to reach drinkers at the moment they are actually choosing a bottle. pourplays.com ↗
PairPlay Slice — training an instinct, not a vocabulary
Thirty themed levels of deliberate practice: read the clues, commit under pressure, turn the feedback into a rule you keep. Play it ↗
Pour AI — a sommelier with no attitude
Ask a question or photograph your meal and get pairing advice in seconds. The photo input is the point: describing a dish well is the same barrier the tool exists to remove. Try it ↗
News4You — independent journalism that funds itself
Dispatches, tiered memberships, a reader forum, live broadcast, and donations — a full media stack one person plus an editor can run daily. news4you.us ↗
Our own products
Built and run by this studio. They are how we prove things before we propose them to a client.
Rounds — the morning stop, in two editions
A daily news briefing built to be finished: a fixed set of sections, every headline linking straight to its publisher, and a Spanish edition that reads its own sources, its own markets and its own history module rather than a translation of the English one. rounds.news ↗
Cuyar — movement for adults over 65
A bilingual movement app built around the constraints of its actual audience: 29 illustrated movements, coach voices recorded rather than synthesised, and full offline operation because its users are often in basements and community centres with no signal. cuyar.app ↗
Aguante — a fasting app that argues with its own category
A bilingual health app whose entire thesis is that the most repeated claim in its category — "autophagy begins at 16 hours" — is not supported by the evidence. The research is the product. aguante.app ↗
NewsFlip — real source, two decoys
Three headlines, one is real — and the answer always arrives with the source that proves it. Media literacy taught by repetition and receipts rather than by lecture. newsflip.app ↗
Vistazo — an I-Spy arcade in thirteen languages
Find the named object in a chaotic collage before the clock runs out. 569 collectable objects cut from openly licensed photography, four modes, and one daily puzzle for the whole planet. vistazo.fun ↗
Concept
Ritual — a wellness website that makes the next step clear
A multilingual client-demo website with four concrete services, transparent duration and starting-price information, a mobile-first booking path, and a real consultation request that reaches the studio without pretending a requested time is confirmed. Explore Ritual ↗
Solmara — a presale platform for a tower that doesn't exist
Ninety-two residences across 41 floors: cinematic arrival, a 3D unit explorer with live availability, a launch-day simulation, and a reserve flow that ends in e-signature.
Solmara is a fictional development, self-initiated by this studio. It is labelled as a concept on every page. We built it because selling an unbuilt building means the deliverable is always synthetic at launch — which makes a concept build indistinguishable in kind from real work. The service it demonstrates →
Collaboration
Yongolailan — one page that books shows
An artist site and downloadable press kit for a Cuban DJ, producer, and live electronic performer in New York: a nine-release catalog that routes out to every platform, short films, merch, and an EPK a booker can attach to an email in one click.
We contributed the front end and technical direction; we do not own or operate this site. The music, films, artwork, and awards are the artist's and Caribbean Sea Sound's. yongolailan.xyz ↗
What the portfolio is meant to prove
Each project demonstrates something specific we can do for a client:
| Project | What it proves |
|---|---|
| PairPlays | Catalog data at scale, progression, and an economy that resists abuse |
| PourPlay / Pour AI | Education as play, and scoping an AI feature so it is actually correct |
| News4You | Publishing, membership, and payments a two-person team can run |
| Cuyar | Designing for a hard accessibility constraint, and bilingual voice |
| Aguante | Research as a product feature, and defensible health claims |
| NewsFlip | Editorial pipelines with verification built in, and daily-return formats |
| Rounds | Multi-source ingestion, and localisation as content architecture |
| Vistazo | Thirteen-language localisation, and a licensed asset pipeline at scale |
| Ritual | Turning premium atmosphere into a clear, accessible consultation path |
| Solmara | Real-time 3D as a purchase driver, and live inventory under it |
| Yongolailan | Designing around the visitor who books, not the one who admires |
Nothing here was outsourced. On the twelve projects we led, the person who designed the experience is part of the team that built it. On Yongolailan we built the front end alongside the team that runs it, and it is labelled as a collaboration everywhere it appears.
